The horse with no tail. I am painting in stages, I will make sure I put the tail in tomorrow. I did have to fix the horizon line it was off a quarter of an inch on the left hand side. You will see the difference next posting, and the horse will have a tail, by then too!

Chincoteague Pony Today

Chincoteague Pony New Oil Painting...
in progress. This oil is of a Chincoteague Pony on the salt marshes of Assateague Island. I just started it and am going to show the progress as it continues. I start with a thin layer of oil paint to lay in the initial colors I am going to use.i started this yesterday and will work on it again
